Okay, maybe the whole "something I like about myself each day" thing was a bit too ambitious, seeing as I don't even blog everyday. So, to be more realistic, let's just say whenever I feel like it :D
These days, I am functioning on a nervous energy. Like running across a minefield. With each step you take that you're still alive, you feel exhilarated but there's a little part of you that knows there's something waiting to explode the moment you make the wrong move.
Which reminds me, I used to play Minesweeper in my dad's office as a child after he picked me up from school. Back then, I'd sit in my dad's big chair turning around and around for as long as I could get away with it, being ridiculously bored and not knowing how to use the internet (if he even had internet in his office at that time). I didn't really understand the function of the numbers on Minesweeper back then and simply clicked on each box, thinking it was a game of luck. Each game would last barely 30 seconds while I went on my clicking rampage until I saw the smiley face turn into a 'X__X' face. Sun Tzu would have turned in his grave at my 'war strategy'.
But anyway, what was I saying?
I tan so easily, it's ridiculous. All I need to do is walk around in the sun for (I kid you not) FIVE MINUTES and I'd be browner than *insert racist joke of choice because I can't remember any*. It's not the nice sort of creamy-brown-with-a-rosy-pink-flush tan that you see in magazines either. Because I'm yellow (again, insert racist joke of choice; go crazy, Michael), it makes me look like I worked in the paddy fields all day despite having jaundice. I blame it on my dad's genes =.= Then again, I'm living in a country where I actually get compliments for being tan (suck it, childhood bullies that called me 'Dark, Dark Xingyi').
Okay, again I digress. Nak kata ada short attention span pun tak boleh because I can be extremely persistent at certain things.
What I wanted to say was, I like that I am a patient, empathetic and dependable listener.
